Colonial wounds are torn up in india
DEBATT Since the end of 2019, nationwide protests in India have met with strong opposition from the state. The protests are about a citizenship law, voted by the Hindu nationalist government of India, which excludes Muslims from citizenship. But there is another perspective that has been lost. She believes that the conflict in India must be put in perspective with the country's colonial history towards this region in order to gain a deeper understanding of the consequences of this law.
